Why the Frame TV needs a different install
The Samsung Frame is designed to hang like a picture: almost no gap to the wall and a single thin cable running to a separate One Connect box that holds all the inputs. Put it on a standard mount, or leave the One Connect box sitting on a shelf, and it stops looking like art. We install Frame TVs specifically to keep that gallery look.
What our Frame TV installation includes
- Slim Fit flush mount installed level and anchored to studs or masonry, so the TV sits tight against the wall.
- One Connect box concealed in a nearby cabinet, a recessed in-wall box, or inside a media console, with the connection cable run through the wall.
- Bezel fitting if you bought a Samsung bezel (white, teak, walnut, beige and more).
- Art mode setup with the motion sensor, brightness and your art collection or Art Store set up, and your devices connected to the One Connect box.
Frame TV over a fireplace or in a gallery wall
Over a mantel, a Frame TV is the cleanest look there is, because it disappears when it's off. We check heat and the wiring path behind the chase first. In dining rooms and hallways we can line the Frame up with real framed art for a gallery wall. We also hang artwork and mirrors, so we can set out the whole wall at once.
Where to put the One Connect box
The One Connect box is where your cable box, Apple TV, game console and soundbar plug in. The best place is usually a cabinet or console directly below or beside the TV, or a recessed box inside the wall. We'll check the length of your model's connection cable and plan the route during the free walkthrough.
