Speakers that disappear into the room
Architectural speakers give you real sound without floorstanding boxes or wires along the baseboard. We cut, wire and install in-wall and in-ceiling speakers in living rooms, kitchens, basements and bedrooms. The grilles can be painted to match the wall.
What we install
- In-wall and in-ceiling speakers — for surround sound, background music or both. ($150 – $250 per pair, wiring to the receiver or amp in the same room included)
- Surround sound systems — 5.1, 7.1 and Dolby Atmos with in-ceiling height channels. ($300 – $1,500)
- Whole-home audio — music in every room from your phone, on Sonos, Denon HEOS or a multi-zone amplifier. ($1,000 – $4,500+)
- Outdoor speakers — weather-rated speakers for patios, decks, pools and landscape "rock" speakers with buried wire.
- Bracket-mounted speakers — bookshelf and surround speakers on wall brackets with hidden wire.
Retrofit in finished walls
Most of our speaker jobs are in homes that are already finished. We plan each speaker location around joists, ductwork and lighting, fish wire through attics, basements and walls, and patch where needed. If you're building or finishing a basement, pre-wiring is the cheapest time to do it.
Where we install
We're based in Sterling and work every day in Ashburn, Leesburg, Purcellville, Dulles, South Riding, Brambleton, Herndon, Reston, Chantilly and the rest of Northern Virginia, plus DC and Maryland. Pick your town for local details:
